Ryan Hayward
Ryan Hayward is an 18-year-old youth advocate from Alice Springs. He has represented young Centralians through the Y’s Youth Parliament Program where he served as Deputy Youth Chief Minister in 2025, as the chair of the 2026 Northern Territory Youth Round Table, and as one of two Northern Territory Delegates at the Commonwealth Youth Parliament.Â

Ryan is passionate about ensuring that young people from regional and remote areas are included in policy dialogues at both the state and national level. This year, he will be attending UN Youth Australia’s National Conference as Central Australia’s sole representative, ensuring that the region is included in key national dialogues centering around the theme of biodiversity.Â

With almost two years of advocacy experience, Ryan continues to work to ensure that youth advocates are heard and represented in decision making processes.Â

Ryan is also the vice-school captain of St Philips College, and enjoys politics, economics, history, target sports, camping and mountain biking in his free time.Â
NT Youth Round Table
Ryan is currently the chair of the Northern Territory Youth Round Table and has travelled to Darwin twice for meetings.
