My First Speech Competition

The Australian Government is challenging young leaders to "imagine they're about to give their first speech in parliament". Applicants can write a three minute speech (500 words) on any topic they're passionate about.


To enter, you do have to be in years 10, 11 and 12. You will be competing against people in your year level to win an all expenses paid-trip to Canberra, where they will deliver their speech live in Parliament House. They will also undertake a program of meetings and tours.
