Opportunity for Young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People

The Federal Government is now accepting applications for it's Work Exposure in government program, which provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with a hands-on experience and knowledge about career pathways in the Australian Government.
It will be held from Sunday the 13th of September to Friday the 18th of September, and all accommodation, transport and meals will be provided at no cost by the Government. Students will also be accompanied by teachers and mentors who will provide cultural mentoring and leadership guidance.
Accoriding to the Australian government, the experience will include:
Meeting first nations leaders, including government Ministers and parliamentarians, and obtaining advice on career planning.
Working alongside Indigenous mentors who will help guide your personal leadership journey.
Meeting other Indigenous mentors who will help guide your personal leadership journey.
Meeting other Indigenous students and future leaders.
One-on-one and small group workships on leadership, mentoring and how to make the most of your school learning experience.
Cultural acitivities.
A Careers Expo, whgere students can talk to representatives from a range of government agencies.
