Entries have opened for the ABC Heywire Competition. This is an incredible opportunity for young people in regional, rural and remote areas to enter the national conversations where they often go unheard and under-represented.

If you are a storyteller, and want to share an element of your life with the world through text, video, audio or photos, this is an incredible opportunity. It's not just a competition though, it has a lasting impact.

Winners will have the opportunity to share their story across the ABC and attend a regional youth summit in Canberra, ensuring that their experiences and ideas are heard be decision makers.

Over the week, they will engage in leadership workshops, meet with members of parliament, government departments and community leaders. This will allow them to develop ideas to help improve the lives of young people in regional Australia. For more information, check out: https://www.abc.net.au/heywire/about

The Trailblazer program is for young people aged 18-28 running educational, environmental, social or economic development projects in regional Australia. Participants recieve training, mentorship, national exposure and are able to attend the Heywire Regional Youth Summitt.

This is such a cool opportunity, so make sure to check it out.
