Soma Sardar
Soma Sardar is a youth advocate, founder and diplomat. Through her leadership, she helps young people globally find their voices and engage with decision making. Her advocacy journey began in 2025 when she attended UN Youth Australia's Junior Leadership Summit. She then served as Outreach Lead for RiseHer, helping expand the not-for-profit.

In 2026, Soma founded the Youth Consortiums, an interconnected network of not-for-profit organisations, including the Youth Diplomatic Consortium, the Youth Law Consortium, the Youth Medical Consortium, and the Youth Engineering Consortium. The organisations are allowing young people to engage in diplomacy through social media, making it much more accessible to young people. With the help of volunteers, Soma runs online debate and Model United Nations events.

In September, Soma will be representing Australia in Portugal as a delegate at the Global Youth IMpact Summit.

In her free time, Soma runs a Chess Club and a Book Club at Muslim Girls Grammer School, both of which she co-founded. She also currently works as a tutor.
Events-Parrhesia
The Youth Diplmatic Consortium recently organised a Parrhesia in partnership with Mental Buddy. As the host of this event, Soma is creating accessible and inclusive spaces for global voices.
UN Youth Australia NSW State Conference
Soma attended the 2026 UN Youth Australia Conference in New South Wales. The theme this year was 'Age of Energy.'
