Tasharnii Voller
Tasharnii Voller is a young advocate from Central Australia, representing the region as a 2026 Northern Territory Youth Week Ambassador. She is also an incredible singer and artist, and actively engages in community events through Desert Divas.

Her strong connection to community informs her drive to make Central Australia, particularly Mparntwe/Alice Springs, a safer and more inclusive place for young people. She is passionate about shifting the way young people, particularly young Aboriginal people, are portrayed in the media, which often fails to reflect their lived experiences, strengths, and perspectives. She believes that creating more positive activities and safe spaces in Central Australia would help support young people who may otherwise be left without places to go.

Through her advocacy, Tasharnii aims to ensure that young people feel heard, included, and valued.

Tasharnii is currently undertaking a Certificate III Apprenticeship in Nursing and Midwifery at Alice Springs Hospital and has also volunteered at the Larapinta Learning Centre.
In Febuary, Tasharnii was featured in the Centralian Today for her role as a NT Youth Week Ambassador
Media Advocacy
